Nillion has partnered with Soarchain to redefine how Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) can enhance data privacy in everyday activities. This collaboration brings together Soarchain’s devices for leveraging driving data with Nillion’s Blind Computation abilities, ensuring sensitive information is managed securely and privately. The partnership represents a significant step forward in using PETs to unlock the value of data without compromising individual privacy.
Through this partnership, Soarchain plans to kick off a unique competition starting on January 30th, inviting participants to learn more about their countries driving habits. Drivers will be grouped by country, competing based on weekly metrics like braking, acceleration,cornering and so on. While individual data remains fully private, aggregate scores will be made public to foster a sense of competition between nations. The competition not only promotes safer driving but also demonstrates how data can be leveraged responsibly to create engaging, real-world applications. Week 3: Least Idling Time ????

Week 6: Most Eco-Friendly Driver ????????
Soarchain is ending on a high note with a competition that combines everything they have learned so far. This challenge focuses on reducing emissions and driving with maximum efficiency. It’s the ultimate test of your eco-driving skills.
This is more than a competition—it’s a commitment to the environment. By balancing fuel efficiency, minimal emissions, and optimal driving practices, you’ll lead the charge toward a cleaner, greener future.
At the end of each week, Soarchain will distribute rewards, and points will be awarded to the top 10 contributors of the top 10 countries. This will all be visible on a leaderboard on the Soarchain website/X page. Check out Soarchain’s X account for more information.
Technical Integration Overview
Soarchain leverages Nillion’s NilDB product to securely manage, store, and retrieve data across a decentralized network. At the core of this solution is secret sharing, a process that splits sensitive data into fragments and distributes them across a cluster of nodes to ensure both privacy and security. By using the NilQL library, Soarchain encrypts its data, making it accessible only when the data is securely reconstructed. Each NilDB node operates with a MongoDB instance, providing the backbone for storing these data shares, while the schemas created during self registration ensure the data adheres to pre-defined structures and validation rules.
For retrieval and decryption, Soarchain relies on NilDB’s REST API endpoints. These endpoints allow for data queries ranging from simple reads to complex, schema-driven instructions. With the retrieved data shares, the NilQL library enables Soarchain to decrypt and reconstruct the original data seamlessly. This ensures data integrity, privacy, and ease of use, empowering Soarchain to handle sensitive information while meeting advanced security requirements. Through this integration, Soarchain is able to build a decentralized, scalable data management framework that aligns with its commitment to innovation and security.
